The Jumbunna region of the Diocese of Melbourne held a seminar on Hope25 on Monday 6 May.
The presentation included the Hope25 vision as well as some NCLS research on the spiritual profile of Australians. There is a spiritual hunger and openness to Christian invitations in Australia.
Clergy were invited to think about those in the wider community their church as links to and relationship with.
Discussions were had about how we could wisely ‘dial up’ the sharing of hope in Jesus through things we are already doing.
We were also encouraged to prayerfully dream and try new things in sharing the hope of Jesus.
The Diocese of Melbourne have already convened a Diocesan Committee to promote Hope25.
