On Saturday, June 24, the Tasmanian Synod included a special presentation on Hope25 by Stephen Carnaby. After the presentation, attendees broke into small groups to discuss and share ideas for implementing Hope25 in Tasmanian parishes.
Ideas for spreading hope in Jesus were recorded on paper and shared for encouragement.
The Hope25 Synod motion was carried with acclamation.
In his presidential address, Bishop Condie spoke extensively about Hope25, stating:
“Just imagine with me for a moment what might happen to the Anglican hurch of Australia if Anglicans across the country got on their knees to pray for their communities to encounter the hope we have in Jesus.“
